Camper battery not working

When I drive the battery works for the lights and fan in the camper but as soon as I shut off the camper motor all power shuts off to the camper. I had the battery checked and it is good and carrying a 100% charge. Not sure what my next step is?
  • Battery disconnect turned off!
Fuse or circuit breaker adjacent to the battery blown or tripped!

After you check for the disconnect then check all the fuses on the converter. Even if you can't find a fully tripped one shut them all off and then back on again.

When you say ALL power is shut off you do mean just the 12v side right?
    What year is your MH?
  • Battery disconnect when stored ++ a float charger or better yet a battery minder desulphator. You'll have the battery for a decade.
  • Make sure that the house battery disconnect switch is in "on" position. You should hear a relay clunk when you turn it on. The switch/relay unit may be defective.
  • What kind of battery check did you do? Measuring the voltage always indicates fully charged if there has been any charging in the last 8 hours. A business selling batteries will usually do a load test free of charge. This will take some time and leave the battery discharged as they charge it up and then drain it through a load, measuring the energy released.

I killed my first set of batteries. Now I have a battery monitor that lets me see the level of charge all the time. I never let it go below 50 per cent because that damages the batteries. I know how well it is charging and discharging.
$25 Bay battery monitor that works well
