I'm leaning toward the 1985 model, you would have a hard time trying to add the "extras" that it has on to the newer one, and to me appearance is most important. Appearance to me means that the 1985 was better taken care of, maintenance was probably performed on schedule, and vehicle was carefully driven. The only things favoring the 1993 model are the generator (assuming it's in excellent working order) and fuel injection (but really not too much difference between injection vs carburetion driven fuel consumption). Forget the 7ft. tall stuff, think both of them are probably taller than that, but you will have to measure to check the height out.
