You might want to also search for Jayco Camper vans - these are like Roadtreks, but not as tall or as expensive.

Thanks for the suggestion but yeah, I already tried the craigslist nationwide searches and it seems like most of the good stuff is too far away from me. I live in Kansas and most of the campers are either in Florida or California. I'm very hesitant to go for something so far away when I can't get a good look at it. I've considered just asking them to take it to a mechanic of my choosing before I head out to pick it up but even then there could be some side deals going on between them.. or maybe I'm just being paranoid. Not really sure how to go about doing all that.
As for the Jayco vans, I think they might be too tall because of the high top roof. The Xplorer is taller than the average van but not that tall. Thanks though!
