- We_Cant_WaitExplorerWent to Home Depot and bought a couple of 2x10x12' and cut the following lengths out of each one, 2-1', 2-2', and 2-3', set the saw to cut at a 45 degree to create a ramp effect on each one, and then can stack them as needed to get a total of 6" rise to help level the MH.
- DaCremaExplorer07 Mid Bath Lazy Dazer here. I am using the yellow blocks with no issues. I have a set of orange as well. Both are working well so far, but it has been only a couple years. I have stacked them rather high but always according to instructions (we sometimes camp at a friends farm that is very hilly). Like others have said, if there is a pair of tires where you need to stack, for example left rear, you need to make a pair of stacks one for each tire.
Your going to like the Lazy Daze. Congrats!
John - mdaExplorerBeen using the Lynx blocks on my 30 ft. C for 8 years now. No problems at all. Bought two sets at Walmart when I purchased the unit.
- pianotunaNomad IIIHi,
I plan on using Anderson levelers rated at 30 tons.
camper leveler
Three are needed for a class C and will work from 1/2 inch to 4 inches. They also work as chocks. - PghBobExplorerHi John:
We have a 2011 LD and all we use are the Lynx blocks. We picked up our unit in 2012 and have 28K miles on it, camping on different surfaces. We have had no issues with the Lynx blocks, although I have discarded a few that have been deformed. There is a correct way to stack them, and an incorrect way. Make sure to check the directions. We have had no fractures of the Lynx blocks, although I have heard that the "yellow blocks" do not hold up as well. It is very important to block both rear reals on a side, not just one. Also, it is very important to remember to ALWAYS keep at least one wheel firmly on the ground. Best wishes with your LD. Bob - WyoTravelerExplorerIf you have a very light RV they work. Otherwise the answer is NO. They push into the ground or break on a hard surface. If you have a diesel they will sound like a shotgun going off and explode into small pieces
- CloudDriverExplorerBoth tires in duals need to be blocked when leveling. If the rear end is low, then all 4 dual tires need blocks to get level.
