It is not uncommon for people to check into RV parks and pay for a certain number of days, and then take off early. If the RV park thinks they have left there is nothing wrong with them renting the space out again. Although I travel with a toad, if I didn't have it and if I were going to leave my space with nothing in it with the intent to return later in the day, I'd let the office know that.
