Camping Clubs

There are many small local camping clubs throughout the US. They should not be difficult to find on google or Facebook.

Escapees also has groups and also campgrounds and coops. Many choices. When in a campground start cleaning the front of your coach and greet everyone who walks by. Do this long enough and often enough and you will have your own "club" of friends across the country.

We were sitting outside our coach with drink in hand when a couple walked by, we greeted them and before long they were sitting with their drinks in hand and we eventually decided to have dinner together. That was 6 years ago and we see each other several times a year as our paths cross.

In 1983, I joined a club called the Good Sam Club. I'm still a member..now for Life....:W:W...Dennis

I don't belong to any club, but a friend down the road from us at home belongs to Good Sam's. He is always telling us about rally that they go camping with during the summer. You might want to check into them. Gary

Several of us in our area started our own club, fixed up a facebook page, one of our guys in a computer geek, so he started a website. We welcome any to join us in the area. We have two camping trips each year - one in the spring, another in the fall. We are a loosely knit group and just post if we are camping so others can join us, if they want.

It has meant some really great friendships, lots of fun, lots of kids, great food and some good times.

We've been operating for about 10 years now.

I agree, google around your home area and if you can't find one, start your own.

Since you're posting here you are probably pretty comfortable snooping around online.

Google camping clubs in your area and see what comes up -- try different combinations based on the type of rig you own or type of group you'd like to camp with. I think you'd be pretty surprised at what you come up with!

When I got my first RV over ten years ago -- a little 10' pop-up -- I did just that, and found the most wonderful group that I still camp with, even though I own a Class A now.

Winnebago has a owners club that camps and has rally's. My wife and I don't care for them! We like quite more private trips without lots of people.
