Can cold weather affect air bag leveling?

My coach leak down rate is certainly much higher in cold temperatures. I always have identified the push on air fittings as the culprit. In sub zero temps they are much more likely to weep air. Whenever I find a leaking push on fitting, I replace with a DOT compression fitting. I have yet to find a leak in a DOT compression fitting.

In a quick fix for a leaking push on fitting, you can sometimes reduce the leak by cutting off the last 1/4 inch of tubing and reinserting. If you look closely the tubing takes an impression from the o ring in the push on fitting. Putting virgin tubing in the fitting gives the o ring something to seal against.

A little bit of soapy water will go a long way to identifying the leak when you take it back. The air bags, air bag connections, the height control valve, and the connections to the height control valve are all suspect until checked for leaks.

But my last repair was the front valve only......I understand the front maybe leaking......but why has my right rear start going down too.

We have made a couple trips with the rear bags and all shocks.........
She stayed level before the front valve....????

I'm thinking the rear bags just are not seating fully in this frigid weather(improper sealing could be having a latent/ delayed effect).....I'm taking it back to the shop but I just wanted to know if someone else maybe has had a similar situation.

Totally agree. An air dryer (IF PROPERLY SERVICED!) REMOVES THE MOISTURE.

But, yesterday I did a mechanical inspection on a VERY neglected high-end coach with air dryer. Drained over 4 GALLONS of water from the wet tank. The dryer had likely not been serviced in more than a decade. These are not maintenance-free components.

how exactly do you let "water slosh in air system" what do u mean?
I have found air dryers are good for many years and many thousands of miles
anyhow its more than obvious he has a air leak after his last repair that needs attending

With complex system troubleshooting miniature leaks can be a nightmare, but I agree that when you had no leak before, you should not have one after spending money on new parts.
My vintage coach will stand of front bags for MONTHS, while rear will leak overnight.

Actually, parts, particularly metal parts shrink as temperatures cool. So, what doesn't leak at higher temperatures CAN leak at lower temperatures. This goes for cooling system parts, air system parts, potable water parts, etc.

a lot of air bags are not crimped to the upper or lower perches so they may need some time for the rubber air bag to seat in to the perches and extreme cold temp will make the rubber harder and shrink the metal perches also very possible they did not properly seal the fittings. if your coach has plastic air lines with quick connect fittings they sometimes leak after being disconnected and reconnected.
I agree with the previous posts if possible take it back to the shop that performed the repair

Those parts should still be under warranty. Take it back to the shop for the installer to double check everything.

A good shop will want you to be happy.
