Can I use 120 V Hot Plate in my RV
I have a 2014 Sunseeker 30 amp and I'm wondering if I can use a 120V Hot Plate on some occasions. Any help would be appreciated.

Yes, but consider an induction cooker instead. The Nuwave unit has 54 power levels and is great for simmering type cooking. It will boil a liter of water in about 2 minutes.
Most hot plates are in the 750 to 1000 watt range. Heating the pot saves about 20% of the energy.
