Can someone tell me what this is on my roof?

The box on your roof looks like a great place to mount a 10-22 with a tripod,at a time we end up with Martial Law. Always be prepared.

Specifically for the King Dome option NRV offered.

Does anyone know what is involved in installing that system on the roof yourself ?

On some models they ran a plastic conduit from that box to the overhead Pass side entertainment compartment. You feed your Sat wires thru that conduit. Doug

Sounds like Doug is an expert on this but that is what it looks like to me as well, The box that holds the roof end of the SAT cable on an RV so prepered.. Mine is a bit different, but also pre-wired.

I second dougrainer's observation. I have one on my roof - prewired for Sat. Dish.

Does not look like it came that way from the manufacturer. Take the lid off and see what in the box.
