Canadian drugs are not shipped from Canada even though they show and you contact a Canadian address. These drugs are from India, southeast Asia or Mexico. There is NO guarantee that these drugs are no counterfeit. Also, they may be of lesser quality that those purchased in the USA.
I suggest contacting the FDA.
Don't forget Britian, France, Germany, etc, etc. Also major pharmacies in the U.S. are also importing many of those same products and using them where a generic is allowed. They come out of India, Thailand, and other asian countries. Some top tier drugs come directly from Europe right on to the Majors shelves. Some of them new and just approved by the F.D.A. for use in the U.S.A. and they are sky high just as if they are made here. Many of those drugs are available out of Canada and are heavily discounted.
The U.S. has to do better regarding affordable drug pricing. And don't come back with the tired argument that research and developement are driving drug prices.
It isn't a tired argument it is the fact. The FDA, regulations and litigation is driving up the cost of medication in the US. I work in the research department of a major corporation (not pharmaceuticals however) and the red tape is overwhelming at times and I don't work in pharma. It costs millions of dollars just to develop a potential drug with absolutely no guarantee of success. You get a maximum of 17 years of patent protection before anyone can copy the drug with none of the expense of R&D. You do the math.
