NW Pharmacy prominently shows where the drugs are made on their packaging. The generic rosuvastatin I get is made in Canada by Sandoz. It works just as well as the proprietary version approved by the FDA and I save 5/6 of the price of the proprietary version ($45 vs $350 for each 90-day refill). BTW, it was made in India the first time I got a prescription filled by NW.
If you look closely at many "proprietary" drugs in US-company labelled containers, you often find "Manufactured in India" or some other overseas country hidden in the small print.
