Carfax can be run on most VIN no's and yes, on motorhomes, as well.
Thing is, they don't tell the whole story. You can probably get better info from the DMV for less money.
Having said that, I got one for less than 2 bucks from another company when we purchased ours and it was well worth that price.
Engine companies like CAT keep records also, but only from their own franchises.
