Carpet replacement
I just got a quote from Winnebago to put new carpet in our 08 Horizon. They quoted me 7500 to 8000. Seems way high! I don't know anything about it, and wonder if a regular flooring shop could do it...

When we wanted the carpet replaced in our Scepter, we checked with the local repair facility that serviced the coach. They recommended the installer they used. Coach is forty feet with four slides. Tile in living room, kitchen and bath, so carpet in bedroom and two front slides. Installer also sent us to his recommended carpet retailer. We bought the carpet for $200 and installer picked it up. Installation was another $700 and took two days. That was four years ago and it still looks new. Check with local RV dealers and repair facilities to see who they recommend.
