Carrier Air V heat pump AC ..help needed

All of a sudden out of nowhere...my front Carrier Air V unit is not functioning right...when fan speed is on auto, the compressor will click on, but not the fan...when I put the fan to low/high, it works fine....we are hooked up to 50 A tonight and there is correct polarity etc...I turned it off, shut off the circuit breaker and then pulled out the 12V fuse for it and I heard a bunch of clicks...then set it to auto...compressor came on but no fan...now I put fan on low and it is working....so apparently, all of a sudden after working fine for however how long, the auto fan control may have failed...They no longer make these units and I hate to have to replace the whole thing when it does work, just one function of it not properly...any insight appreciated as to what to reset..as I have reset the circuit breaker and the 12 v ....one time the on light flickered 5 times which according to owners manual says contact the servicemen...but that disappeared after the reset.....we are on a trip and I hate to go nuts over this.

I often hear about folks complaining about the "Noise" of the AirConditioner on amotor home or trailer.....If the noise bothers you I will tell you how to fix it, This is, by the way, what I do.

    Turn the blower on high..

You will be bothered by the noise for a few mintues but then your mind will quickly build a mental "Filter" for the noise of the blower and you won't notice it so much any more.. What's more the white noise of the rushing wind will partially mask other sounds coming from outside the RV making them less annoying, so you get a double benefit.
  • problem found.fixed..it was the mifi wireless I had on..doing this update on smartphone. once I turned it off..ac was fine again... go figure
