catalytic converter 97 winni brave chevy 454 engine

I need a catalytic converter for my 1997 Winnebago Brave with a 454 engine.
The shop where we had brakes and an alignment done said they had to order part and it was $2800.
I have searched the web and can't find one over $200 or $300.
Is this part overpriced at $2800?
