ceiling cover

Hello, newby, first post...Bought this 2002 Coachman, really low miles.decent shape except...noticed the covering on the nose in the overhead had SLIGHT evidence of water but other than that,no leaks anywhere else.Anyway, checked the damage out.All the wood from the nose to the cab was completely gone, nothing visible from the top. There was standing water under the foam and it hadn't seen rain in 6 mos.Side walls OK.Roof and seams were all good. All 5 clearance lights had holes in the top.To make a short story long, got the rot all dug out and replaced.Replaced the curved interior piece in the nose around the window with some thin fiber glass stuff (finally the question) works good but I want to cover it with something that looks like the ceiling which is luan with a plastic coating. It's white with some gold swirls but looks white only from 2 ft away. Where can you get this plastic material? Don't need to match perfect but be a little less obvious than what I have. Thanks!
  • I've discovered that commercial suppliers and fabricators exist for all kinds of materials, and they're happy to sell some to the average guy doing a project. Just Google plastic sheeting or whatever you want and visit a couple places for quality, thickness, and negotiate pricing.
  • i picked up the sheets at a local lumber yard i know Rona has it and so does home depot, search SnowFlake or Laminated vinyl lauan...
