Ceiling Mount New TV

I want to upgrade my television to a new and larger flat screen. It weighs about 22 pounds. What I was thinking of doing was ceiling mounting it by drilling completely through the ceiling and putting carriage bolts through the roof, sealing them of course, and hang it that way. This way I could hold the TV flat to the ceiling while traveling.

Has anyone done anything similar or does anyone have any hints tips or whatever that would help me out?
