Change 6v batteries to 12v batteries
I have an '09 phaeton. The 6 house batteries were replaced with 6- 12v instead of 6- 6v batteries. Can I keep the 12v and use 3 of them or do I need to get 6- 6v? And would they all be golf cart batte...

I don't have 12v power. The 12v disconnect by passenger side console and generator don't work. I thought I burned out the fuses and circuit breakers but everything is fine. The ignition has to be on for the 12v to work lights even when plugged in. The outlets work when plugged in.
The 6 batteries need to be separated, charged and tested.
