Changing batteries
For all of you that do your own work, how do you go about changing them without getting battery acid on your clothes. Last time I did it required about 12 patches on my pants

Wool clothes are less volatile than cotton.
Cleanliness is the best thing. Note that if your hardware is getting corroded your batteries are probably nearing their end of life.
