Check valve replacement

Our check valve on our 2016 Navion failed and we replaced. However, even with plumbing take we are getting major leaking at point of connection between check valve and 1/2" cold water line. Any suggestions.

Same thing with mine. Look at your old check valve. Mine had a rubber piece that inserted into one end. Put that in the new one and everything worked fine. If you already tossed the old one you should be able to find a close replacement washer at a hardware store.

  • What is the location of the check valve ?

typically you’ll end up with three fresh water check valves; one at the cold inlet to the water heater, one at the city water inlet and one located at the outlet of the water pump.

Does the check valve have an arrow on it to show the direction of water flow ?
