Tenbear, I've gotten no flack at my local Chevy dealer, tho' I've only used them for warranty service. I've had two Chevy-chassised RV's, a 19' class B Express 3500 and the current Tiger (see sig).
However, I was driving the B when I stopped by to make an appointment for some minor warranty work (2nd time I'd been there). I was standing there in the inside drive-thru at the service desk, leaning against the van. The 'tard service writer wrote it up for 8 AM later in the week. When I arrived then, I was told.... "Oh, I didn't realize what it was! You'll need to make another appointment in our truck shop!" Dumb-bass....
Both have been pretty darn reliable, the '06 C even moreso than the '01 B. I've never needed service or repairs on a trip in either one, and only cut one trip short due to an Onan failure.
11-13 mpg with the 8.1.
