The Chevy 6.2L is a newer design with any benefit that comes with it and the Ford 6.8L is an older tried and proven reliable power plant. Power wise the newer Chevy design makes makes more HP but the same torque as the Ford 6.8L but it requires 900 more RPM's to acheive it in both cases. Toss up IMO
