Chewed Part and Alternator Question 96 Fleetwood with ford

Hey Y'all

Im new to the site and I have a question about a part that looks like it has been chewed by an animal. Its located behind the passenger front tire. Looks like 2 boxes, one is chewed. It looks like a vacuum line of some sort. 96 Fleetwood 34L with ford engine.

Also the alternator is fluctuating between 14 and 17V. Bouncing back and forth. Does anyone know what could be the cause?

  • Welcome,

Please post pictures of what is chewed.

Have you confirmed the voltage fluctuation with a digital voltmeter at the chassis battery? That will tell you if a real or gauge issue.

Assume you have checked all connections at alternator and battery isolator and batteries.
