No. The F53 sway bars have 2 sets of holes and either will reach but it just changes the angle. All you are doing is moving it from one set of holes to the other and it tightens things up. No idea why manufacturers don't just do this before they leave the factory. Makes me wonder how many people drove a gasser and and passed on it due to the ride when they may have bought it with the CHF. It's a pretty dramatic improvement - and free. Just taking advantage of the option that Ford offered in the first place.
Yes I know how it works, but with the OE link on the inner holes, when the front is raised there isn’t much suspension travel. I have beards a couple of complaints of damaged links and noise when going over dips in the road. No doubt it handles way better, but I do believe you need the longer links to make it perfect!
