How do you travel? Short trips close by or long trips across the country? How many miles per year? How long do you plan to keep it? Are you capable of doing your own maintenance?
I think these are excellent questions.
A DP is a wonderful machine. But, if you are not going to use it, why spend the money?
The oil and filters can go much longer. They told me at the Prevost service center 35,000 miles or one year. Generally, a DP will have a more robust chassis and air ride is nice.
But, you need to think seriously how you are going to use the motorhome.
Good luck,
MM.
On edit: I looked up both units and there is a pretty good price difference between the two. You didn't mention which floor plans that you are considering. The DP video was more informative. I like the auto-genny start feature on that coach.
The 37F gas has a bath and a half which is nice and additional seating with the driver's and passengers chairs that swivel. Starting price $185K.
The 34T is a smaller coach. I'm not sure if I like the big booth 'only' set-up. It also has swiveling seats. Starting price $208K.
I see that the DP has all wood cabinets which is nice. If the Gasser has all wood cabinets too, I might lean that way or go with a longer DP (more money I know).
