From your description of how you'll use the coach, I would go with a high end gasser. Many people are under the belief that DP's ride substantially better than a gasser, but that's not true in this day and age. First, the Ford chassis has been refined and gives a pretty nice ride. Second, a short, entry level DP. will not ride much better than a well built gasser. The smooth ride that many talk about in a DP comes with a long, heavy DP (think limousine). A rough road is a rough road no matter if you're in a gasser or DP.
