Is getting to a fuel pump a consideration? We tow a TT with a FOrd E350 diesel van. It is so much easier to fuel up with the big rigs 'round back then trying to squeeze into the front gas pumps. Used to tow with a gas suburban. I have MH envy and would like to get one some day. Is it hard to fuel a gasser? I think the FRED is looking pretty good. Now just to win the lotto.
In my experience no... Other than being concerned with overhead clearance and maneuvering room I never thought of it as a challenge. Nor was it difficult to find a station where the size or access was an issue.
Fueling a diesel motorhome is a little more of a challenge since you will either have to wait your turn with the 18 wheelers and be concerned about tracking grime into your coach, or cowboy up and squeeze into the RV island at Flying J's where many only have the low flow nozzles to accommodate the diesel pick-ups.
In either case not much of a factor with the edge going to a gasoline powered coach due to availability.
