We are only a year or so away from making this decision so thank you, Johnny, for some great info. A major wish is to be able to tow more weight. But it's my understanding the towing capability depends on a lot more than power and tranny capability. If I were to go with a new 34' or so Ford V-10 with two or three slides and add Banks to the rig, would it increase my towing capacity to anywhere near that of a similar FRED? Or a DP?
