Hello Everyone,
My wife and I are actively looking for our first Class A motorhome. We have owned a 24 ft. TT (lived in it with 3 kids while building our home!) and a Starcraft pop-up, both of which we enjoyed, but now it's time to travel comfortably. We have 4 kids we will be taking along, so a longer length is what we will need. We recently drove a 36' gas model that had plenty of power, but it was all over the lane on the freeway and seemed like it would be exhausting to drive very far. Also, I really like the safety factor of air brakes and engine braking, so I guess a DP is the way we will go. We are looking at used, probably in the 2000 to 2003 range for our budget. Are there any experienced RV'ers out there with strong opinions for or against certain makes/models? And, has anyone owned or driven a gas pusher? Saw one of these last weekend, looked amazing but I don't think it would have air brakes like a diesel. Otherwise it's truly a beautiful coach-- it was a 2008 Destination, I believe. Anyone have experience with these-- and what year did they start making these? Thanks to all for any info you can give...
