ALL RV Motorhome INCOMPLETE chassis, the warranty STARTS at FIRST retail delivery after the Motorhome is fully built. There is even a specific FORM, that is filled out by the retail dealer starting the Mileage and time at date of delivery to customer. This is true of ALL makes and brands of Motorhome chassis. Now, on the SPEC tag of the Chassis, will be BUILD date of chassis, but that is NEVER used in retail warranty starts. Doug
PS the Service center is either WRONG(ignorant) or is trying to get your buddy to pay since warranty will pay less to the shop.
