I stayed there several years ago. Some sites are level. Some are not. Mine was way off level and I used a bunch of leveling blocks under the rear dualies and even some under the jacks to reduce the jacks extension. There were no other sites available at the time and we were meeting friends that were already there or I would not have accepted the site.
The beach is an easy walk across the paved road by the campground. My friend and I took a walk each morning to the beach, down a ways and then to the paved road and back to the campground. That was about three miles as I recall but might have been two. When we wanted to take coolers and stuff and sit on the beach we drove our car to the beach.
