appreciate the responses. I got another estimate and am getting more not less confused. this one is for $1500, 12 hrs labor, pads and 'turning' rotors $180 for all, plus seals all wheels. This guy is just turning rotors, the other was replacing them saying they don't turn them anymore. from the responses 12 hours sounds??=3hrs per wheel. as someone said removing rotors turning them or buying new, replacing seals and pads, wheels on and off 6 total with rear doubles. maybe 3 hrs is about right.
Anyone care to weigh in on turning vs replacing rotors, got one vote for replacing. Question I have here is yes rv much heavier than a car but is that accounted for in size and thickness of rv rotors??
I guess I didn't read your original post correctly. Doing all wheels and pads, $1500 is not out of line. 12 hours labor is about right including seals.
