Class A Built for Two?

Looking for suggestions for smallish class A models that we should consider. It's just my wife and I, and we'd use it for long weekends and week or so vacations at first, and then in about two years or so we'd like to snowbird. I had a 30' C from 2004-2009, my wife is a newbie. We don't want a big rig, were considering B or B+ but in looking at a few models we'd get much more for less money in a smaller A, especially since we want to spend extended time in it in the near future. We will probably be looking at well-loved late model used gas models, but we will be at Hershey so that's why I'm looking at suggestions for what models you nice folks would recommend, to make the use of our one day there and do research in advance.

  • We do have a small Bishon. The B's seem too cramped to be in for months at a time (snowbirding) and for working in. There are some like the Leisure Travel Unity Flex and Winnebago ERA 70C that are roomier (B+ really). Dry bath is a requirement though :-) Thinking of spending $80k or below. Looking at the Forest River FR3 25DS, any experiences with that or the others I've mentioned?
  • What type of budget do you have in mind ? Newmar has some nice units in the 27-30 ft range.

They sure have alot of the smaller CLASS Bs on the road now... See alot of ROADTREKs with just two folks in them...

Maybe to little for what you are asking about but they sure look appealing to me...

They have little ones up to something like this...

Be worth checking out for sure...

Just about every manufacturer makes a small Class A under 30'. Some are even getting into smaller 25' models on the E450 chassis, called an RUV. Thor Axis and Vegas come to mind.
