CLASS A EXTERIOR

Thinking of upgrading to a Class A late model 2010-2013 what exterior would be easier to maintain cleaning, waxing, recaulking or what ever else is needed, I would pay more for a painted unit if it was easier to keep up. Not if it just looked cool, any other recommendations would be appreciated.

Thanks

  • On darker colors are cool, no issue, but cool costs and go with what you want
  • I have a full body paint, silver and blue, and after 8 years it still looks new.

It is kept outdoors and washed about 6 times a year.

I'd recommend buying a full body paint RV as it is very easy to wash and keep looking nice.
  • I think the original question was is a painted coach easier to maintain? In my opinion, yes due to the paint and clear coat. Gel coat finishes look good when new but the sun can distroy the finish in a few years. I've had both.
  • Full body paint for sure but darker colors seem more prone to crazing.
  • Full body paint in Grey or Brown,,,,,unless of coarse you want to look like all the other Motorhomes, then go white....
  • My MH is now 10 years old with full body paint and still looks like new. I do keep it stored inside and wash it periodically but I don't wax my MH or my cars since clear coat. Mine is dark but Newmar has some of the best insulation in the business. I ran the AC today when the temp was already up to 87 and it was cold in less than 10 minutes. We have been in 105 and had no problem keeping cool.
  • Hi neighbor! Definitely full body paint with painted graphics. Stay away from the dark colors unless you want to broil.
