My rig is 42' end to end. If I am not familiar with the CG, I ask, and usually heed the advice of those who are familiar with it. I have found that 95% of the time or better, if they advise you it is tight and you should unhook the toad, it isn't because they just happened to think of it, it is because others have probably scraped something. I may or may not walk it. I have been in some tight spots, and I would rather avoid putting myself there and enjoy my trip. My rig isn't in the Indy 500, and I don't need to prove anything to anyone, sometimes you need to turn your ego down. I wonder if the OP would have posted if an accident happened? My guess is no, or we would be reading about how tight the place was and the CG owner should not have put him in that spot.
