I have to agree with the OP here. This is the last place to post your accomplishments withtout 90% of the site jumping on you with negativity for not taking the safest posible route and perfectly calculating every risk so you can avoid it.
As stated by a few examples, you can put yourself in a tight spot and you can get bad information from the "experienced desk personel". You can be directed by a campground employee directly into something to damage your RV. I been told by 5 campgrounds that its really tight only to find out their version of tight was about 3-10 feet of additional clearance on the roads to my site. Adversely at a NE campground I was told no need to disconnect there is lots of room on the road, which translated to that yes when everyone parks within their site there is gobs of room, but generally none of the seasonal people park within their site making sections of every road 8'4" wide.
