The only adjective that would seem to apply from your observation would be elitist. I really don't see the liberal part. I do like how you make the word liberal into a put down though. Really, I don't think your comment has much more worth than the OP's. It may have less. At least he wasn't calling names and attacking an individual.
He was at least civil enough to belittle a huge portion of the community here at once. I really don't think he meant it in quite the worst way that we are all taking it however.
