- msmith1199Explorer III would also question why you would have to remove slides and windows. You only really need to paint what's visible and you can get to everything visible without removing slides and windows. Just mask them off.

Yes on pics...if I knew how to do it I would....Ive tried before and disaster....
One of those quotes came from the factory and the other came from a painter that is typically highly recommended on any and all forums. From prior posts I have read on this topic, that dollar amount was not too far off. - popeye766Explorer$25,000...ouch.! pull the slides ,windows....RRRUUUNNN......that's nonsense .I would NEVER let someone do that....'

I also asked about one solid color and was told very little difference in price. A lot of the price comes from pulling out all the slides, taking out the windows, taking off all the awnings, etc. I was quoted approximately $25,000 for 43 foot rig. No body work.

Iam in the process of painting my 97 Pace Arrow 34'...$1300.00 materials...have both sides done...paint from Summit racing ..seems as good as PPG...base/clear, metallic silver and candy apple around the waist where those hideous decals were...all bottom compartment doors silver grey. Bumpers black. Decals weren't fun to remove and some outlines still show in fiberglass.
The remainder I will buff out after we take a 6 week vacation next mo.
Do us all a favor and show finished pics and process when completed.....
