Class A prices dropping??

I've been keeping track of the value of my motorhome for fun the past few years. In the last 6 months (in particular), the prices have been dropping HARD. Anyone else noticing this? I'm not interested in selling, but like to keep a pulse on the value. No need for replies telling me how an Rv is a depreciating asset, I already know that... Just surprised at the very rapid drop the past 6 months.

    I see that too, snif
  • I believe that as many as 50% of the newly-sold RVs will be on the market soon due to people getting lazy and realizing RVing is a lot more work than they expected.
  • At one point in early Feb. I was at an RV show and heard the comment made that 2017 was the best sales year ever for RV's. If that statement is true then it might mean that many people traded up and there is an abundance of used stock driving down prices based on supply and demand.
    just making a hunch here.
  • Huge new yearly sales numbers. Means many more used units hitting the lots. Increased used inventory means dropping prices. The old supply and demand thing.
  • Just checked mine after 1.5 years of ownership, and mine is selling pretty close to what I purchased at.
