Class A purchasing help - input requested & welcome

Hi,

We are likely looking to move away from our current RV and move into a Class A motor home. This change is due to our hobbies moving away from dirt bikes & ATV/UTV to the next chapter. We currently have a 27' Toy Hauler and it feels like that size is about right for our use case (both now and in future).

As we start the consideration, I wanted to see what recommendations others might offer on brands/models to consider that fit the following criteria:

-Diesel engine (would prefer something aside from Ford if possible)
-Needs to be able to tow at least a 5k vehicle behind it
-27' would be minimum length
-If new - must have dealership in NorCal, not buying out of region again
-If used - 2010 or newer preferred
-Toyhauler amenities like fuel station, large tanks, etc. are a bonus but not required (i.e. we will not be using this in RV parks, but rather stand alone camping)
-We will be traveling with large dogs, so having an area where we can assemble two large dog crates is very beneficial (but not required)
-We have no kids, and will only be my wife and I 90% of the time (i.e. we don't need to sleep 8, bunk beds and over cab beds are "wasted space" for us)
-Currently spoiled by a large shower in the Toy Hauler, a unit with a "oversized" unit is a huge bonus with "the boss"
-Emphasis on lots of storage is key
-And last but not least, I would like to keep this under $125k (if possible)

After doing some reading here, and spending some time on RV Trader this AM, the list above feels like it's doable. I originally thought i could do this in a class C, but after working on this in the C forum earlier, it feels like i need to go into an A.

I've had good results with Jayco on our 1st Toy Hauler, and the Seneca 36 looks as close as i can get in the Class C.

Thanks in advance for any/all assistance
