class A screen room

Has anyone purchased a screen room that fits on the awning?

I have a 2013 Cross Country Sport Coach and looking for a screen room to attach (easily) to the awning. Any ideas or manufactures with a instructional video?

  • We also had the Patto O Room on our old Star Stream. Being that it was only a 21' trailer with no slides it was very usefull and we were glad to have it for the extra space. First time install was a bit long with all the twist locks that needed to be attached to the trailer (took about 1.5hrs) but normal set up was about 10 min max. we never bothred much with the section that closes off from the bottom of the TT to the ground(for us it was more a wether thing than a bug thing) I think if you are looking to seal out bugs you might be disapointed. It leaves some gaps where it meets the awningand is not a tight seal against the side of the TT. Would I buy one again, YES. When we ordered our current trailer(Cougar High Country 329TSB) I wanted an additional awning over the outside kitchen and bathroon door and our TT tech said "no problem I can pull power for the electric awning from the kitchen" Hold up a minute Mr Tech guy...I put a manual awning, why... the Patty O Room is quite alot of weight and some (not all) electric awnings are not made to or can support the weight Check youre awning manufacturer to make sure.

    Just my 2 cents

  • We had one for our Dynasty and used it a lot. Screen in the summer and had sides that dropped down when the weather cooled off. The kids loved to sleep in it at night. It was from Dometic and called a Patty O Room...The Exec has a Girard awning and there's none made for it or I would have gotten another one. Takes about 10 mins to put it up and it comes in it's own canvas bag for storage.....Dennis

  • It's a 10 minute video, and they sped it up. Sounds like too much work to me. :)
