class A semi as an RV

Hello
I currently own a Volvo vnl780 just bought today. what is the process that I would have to go through to register it as an RV for my own personal use and not for commercial use. I will be tuggin a 40 foot 5th wheel with it

    that's the way I see it my truck is for personal use and not an RV. but I heard people tell me to register it as an rv or what they call a housecar:h

    just did that thanks I thought it was supposed to be in the heavy duty trucks section. you live and learn :o oh and the state i'm in is califorina moving to south Dakota

    I would think that your truck is just a truck for personal use. It is not an RV, the fifth wheel is an RV. I'm not sure what you are wanting to do.

    You need to post this question in the 5th wheel forum. Or ask a moderator to move this post there.
    I know there are some pulling with similar trucks and can possibly answer your question. Probably varies per state though.
