A class A of the same size as a class C will typically have: larger gas tank, larger water and holding tanks, larger propane tank, more storage space.
If you are planning short trips or always staying at full hook up parks, it doesn't make a difference. If you plan for more extended travel, dry camping, and/or partial hook ups, an A will probably be better.
