As for loading and un-loading, it makes no difference at all. We both load groceries, clothes and all other items needed. A few feet more is no big deal at all. One poster mentioned the entrance step level on a front door model being a bit low in certain camping conditions.
Well, yes, that can happen. In fact, in a few spots we've been in, that lower step was literally 1" off the ground. Again, no biggie. It just makes for easier access to the coach.
With me it is more of an issue than a few extra steps. It seems to me that stepping over and around the seat with both arms full of stuff can be difficult. With the 5th wheels I have owned before and presently own and the motor home I rented with a side door it was easy to stand outside and pile stuff on the floor. When all my stuff was inside the RV I got inside and packed the fridge clothing and canned goods.
I probably will not remove the TV if or when I full time it because I will no longer have a house. But until I transition to full time I will continue to rent a space for my RV because my HOA will not allow me to park it on my property, When I store my RV I remove my 40 inch TV and bring it in the house into my house. Carrying a large TV around the front seat will be harder than just placing the TV on the floor and walking up the stairs empty handed instead f trying to climb the stairs with a TV set in my arms. The fact is carrying any large or heavy item up stairs will be harder than placing the item on the floor and walking up stairs empty handed and then picking the items off the floor once I am inside the RV.
