Having RV replacement insurance for five years and campsite liability insurance seemed like a reasonable goal. Last year I checked with Progressive and Good Sam. Neither of these companies could provide liability insurance above $500,000; because I live in California, I was told.
Happy with my existing insurance company that could only insure RVs as cars, I signed up with Progressive for the RV and bought a stand-alone umbrella policy to cover both of the underlying companies. The umbrella is with United States Liability Insurance Group; through an independent agent.
