We have a 31' class C and, because of towing a boat, do not use a toad. Two additional thoughts to what has already been mentioned.
One, we have changed how we setup camp. We have minimized effort needed to "break camp" and run somewhere in MH. We don't hang awning lights, flags, etc. If out, we will leave chairs, grill, cooler, etc. at camp site. I also use quick disconnect on water and cable TV (if available). For sewer hookup, we have on of the hoses with caps on each end so I can disconnect from MH and cap off hose while out. Inside MH, we try to keep loose stuff to a minimum. Wife has setup baskets with non-slip feet for keeping loose items in place.
The other thing is when camping without sewer hookups, it is really convenient to stop by dump station on way somewhere and dump gray water. We still stay aware of water usage but not near as much when we had 5'er and used a portable blue tote.
