We have a 27 foot Class C. We have crossed the country twice without a toad, and have not missed it. We have parked at the pier area of Santa Monica, in small towns like Jackson WY and Fort Collins CO, many of the western national parks, and some out of the way boondocking. One suggestion is if you make reservations at a restaurant/concert, ask them where to park the RV. For example, we parked at a grocery store a couple blocks away from the restaurant, that was recommended. So, as noted by an earlier poster, you just adapt to your circumstances. We also use public transportation if available. Lastly, one time we rented a car while in Florida for a couple of days.
