Class C Dingy towing
I am driving a 2005 Fleetwood Tioga 31M and am considering purchasing a 2011 GMC Acadia Denali. How do I determine if the Acadia can safely be pulled flat behind my Class C?

It looks like the base weight of the Acadia is a little under 5,000#. It also looks like a 2005 31M was rated to tow 3,500#, while that was upgraded to 5,000# in the 2009 model year.
I believe you could go to a good metal fabricating, hitch builder/installer, to make any modifications the chassis would need, including replacing the hitch and beefing up the frame to enable the MH to tow the additional weight.
