Class C MPG

I would like to trade my trailer for used 24-26 feet Class C Motorhome with 1 slideout. What is MPG average on 24-26 Class C motorhomes? Thank You.

  • My E450 V10 in 24' shows about 9 MPG overall. Baby it along at a steady 60 on a long trip it goes to 10 MPG.
  • 28' Chateau Sport weighs in at 11,500 and average about 9.5mpg. Last summer took a 5700+ mile trip to 13 Western States and averaged 9.78 (no towing) through the Rockies 2x and 2 days of head winds in Kansas. Also ran the generator for at least 1/2 the time we were driving and dash air. Hit 95+ degree weather for 3 weeks. The big factor is speed and terrain. I don't usually drive over 60 and now I don't look at MPG. I just enjoy the trip.
  • 27 ft , gas, weighs 11,000 completely loaded. I get 9 mpg - haven't done mountains yet.
  • 29 ft class C, gas, 7.5-8.5 depending how it is driven, wind, hills, etc.

Lots of traveling benefits over a TT

I have a 2008 Winnebago Outlook Class C, 29' with 2 slides. I average 7.0 - 7.5 MPG. Don't worry too much about it, just enjoy the ride.
