I'd stick the larger tanks, fuel station, etc on the towed trailer for the toys. Use transfer pumps for the fresh and grey water (probably won't run out of black).
As for your choices, 27' and diesel with 5k towing capacity pretty much rules out everything. Don't like hearing revs or have a super capacity bladder? :)
Thought about that, but all I’m really doing is shifting my spend from A to B. The Jeep is also much less capable to support all that weight or equipment.
I hear you that I’m making it harder, but I keep coming back to that Jayco Seneca. It looks like it fits most all of my specs, but perhaps it is the only one?
Are you flat-towing the Heep, or flat-bed? Figured since you had a toyhauler already, you'd continue trailering out the toys, etc.
Is there a 27' Seneca?
We went from TH to Class C. Ended up with a 31' Coachmen. Ford V10 isn't bad at all, except on fuel. Even still, my CTD Dodge didn't get much better mileage towing the same exact TH as my V10 Excursion did, and other than revving higher, wasn't hugely different on the grades (maybe 5mph in peak speed at the steepest parts). Noise was actually lower in the V10 because CTD isn't exactly a trolling motor...
